A community platform and web shop for meat and barbecue enthusiasts
A mobile app and web shop built from scratch: community video and recipe content, discount offers, and a loyalty system tied to linked membership accounts, with an admin panel the client runs themselves.

What we built.
Meat Member Club is a community for meat and barbecue enthusiasts. The proposition joins two things that usually live in separate products: content people come back for, and a shop that turns that attention into orders.
Moweb built the mobile app and web shop from scratch, starting in June 2024. The app and website launched in 2025 and the engagement continues through support and updates.
Key challenges
A community platform with commerce attached has to work as one product, not a content site with a store bolted on.
- 1Community and commerce in one place - videos, recipes, and offers need to sit alongside a working shop, sharing the same membership identity rather than asking members to hold two accounts.
- 2Membership-linked pricing - discounts are a membership benefit, so pricing has to resolve against a member's account at the point of purchase.
- 3Content the client can run - a community platform only stays alive if the people who own the community can publish to it without engineering involvement.
Our solutions
We built the app, the web shop, and the administrative layer as a single product with one membership account behind it.
- Mobile app and web shop - both built from scratch, sharing membership state so a member is the same member in either place.
- Community content - videos and recipes as first-class content in the app, giving members a reason to open it between purchases.
- Loyalty and discount offers - a loyalty system with linked membership accounts, and discounts in the webshop that resolve against membership.
- Administrative panel - content management the client operates directly, so publishing does not queue behind a release.
- Ongoing support - the engagement continues past launch with support and updates.
Value delivered
- One membership identity across the app and the web shop
- Content publishing the client controls without engineering involvement
- Launched and still supported, not handed over at go-live
- Fast, clear communication - the client's own words in their review
